George Naggiar is the founding attorney of Naggiar Law Firm, a law firm dedicated exclusively to startups and small & medium-sized businesses. George is licensed to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey.  George provides legal and strategic counsel to startups, business owners and investors on matters throughout the lifecycle of a business, from formation, governance, equity issuance and distribution, employment, investment, and sale and acquisition.

Throughout his nearly 15-year professional career, George has worked as both an entrepreneur and an attorney. As an entrepreneur, George founded The EZ Startup, LLC, which provided strategic consulting and business services to startups across industries and business types. As an attorney, George practiced corporate law in the New York offices of King & Spalding LLP, an international law firm with offices around the world. At King & Spalding, George conducted legal work on a wide range of complex, diverse, and primarily international, financial transactions. That combination of experiences has given George an invaluable perspective through which he is able to understand the experiences, priorities and goals of business owners, account for the business implications of legal decisions, and craft legal solutions that advance core business objectives.

Prior to practicing law, George earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) from Rutgers College.

The Naggiar Law Firm is a law firm that is focused on providing high-quality legal assistance to startups, small- & medium-sized businesses, and investors. We believe in using our training to empower people who are building, growing and investing in great companies. Our goal is to help entrepreneurs and business owners create entities, structures and contractual arrangements that reduce their risks, protect their work, maximize their profits, recruit and retain great team members, develop wise compensation packages, raise funds, and sell and acquire assets necessary to power their companies’ growth.

Business law isn’t just a bunch of contract templates that you can find online — it consists of conscious thought and planning about how companies should organize themselves, develop governance structures and design relationships with their owners, employees, vendors, customers, and employees, all to maximize their chances of success. We’ve done that thinking and planning for other companies and, if you’ve got a great company, we’d love to apply it to help you.
